Hair Removal with Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Therapy

Compared to laser hair removal, IPL hair removal offers a faster, more efficient and more comfortable treatment experience. IPL hair removal uses high-intensity pulses of light rather than a laser technology. The pulsed light hair removal treatment was designed to remove unwanted hair with a light pulse that destroys the hair germ cell.

THE ADVANTAGES OF INTENSE PULSED LIGHT VS. LASER HAIR REMOVAL

The treatment is virtually painless thanks to the efficiency of the skin’s own cooling system and results in less damage to surrounding tissue than laser hair removal. The pulsed light hair removal is accomplished more quickly than laser hair removal treatments because it is applied to a larger epidermal surface resulting in faster treatment. It takes less time and is more effective than traditional laser hair removal procedures. It is possible to treat several areas in one session.

Several regions of the body can benefit from permanent hair removal such as legs, arms, underarms, bikini area, face, back, buttocks, abdomen, chest, etc.

HOW LONG WILL THE RESULTS LAST?

The treated hair will remain visible between 7 and 30 days after treatment. This is not regrowth, but the expulsion of hair through the skin. Generally speaking, maximum elimination of hair requires between 6 and 8 treatments.

WHAT KIND OF RESULTS SHOULD I EXPECT?

Patients can expect smoother, hair-free skin.
